Blattner Brunner’s bbdigital is a Top Winner at the WebAwards for the Third Consecutive Year

bbdigital Honored Nine Times in Web Marketing Association’s International Awards Program
PITTSBURGH - Blattner Brunner Chairman and CEO Michael Brunner announced today that the agency’s interactive group, bbdigital™, has been honored nine times in the Web Marketing Association’s (WMA) 2006 international WebAward Competition. bbdigital placed in the Top 10 of all winning agencies this year, surpassing such well-known interactive shops as Avenue A/Razorfish, Ogilvy One, JWT Specialized Communications, Fry, Inc. and Mullen.
The WMA awarded bbdigital for Web campaigns for GlaxoSmithKline Pharma, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer, Del Monte, EDMC/Art Institutes, Pittsburgh First and Corus Home Realty, as well as an award for the agency's own parent brand Web site - www.BlattnerBrunner.com. bbdigital received “Consumer Goods Standard of Excellence" awards for three GlaxoSmithKline brands as well as one Del Monte’s Scooby Snacks brand. The WMA also awarded Web sites for Art Enterprises Student Gallery, Corus Home Realty and Pittsburgh First with the "Standard of Excellence" title, and recognized the Web sites for Blattner Brunner and another GlaxoSmithKline Pharma brand as "Outstanding Web Sites."

This is the third consecutive year that bbdigital has entered the Web Marketing Association's WebAward competition, and it has been recognized multiple times each year. Blattner Brunner's 21 WebAwards for the past three years make it the 6th most awarded agency since it first entered the competition in 2004, including two "Best in Category" awards.

The annual WebAward Competition, produced by the Web Marketing Association, was founded in 1997 to set a high standard for Internet marketing and site development on the World Wide Web. WebAward entries are submitted by leading interactive agencies, Web site owners and in-house marketing and e-commerce departments from more than 19 countries. There are more than 80 industry categories, and each site goes head-to-head with other sites in its respective category.
