BRUNNER Digital Honored Seven Times in Web Marketing Association’s International Awards Program

PITTSBURGH - Michael Brunner, CEO of Blattner Brunner, Inc., announced today that the agency’s digital marketing group, Brunner Digital, was honored seven times in the Web Marketing Association’s 2007 international WebAward Competition. bbdigital placed in the Top 25 of more than 800 participating organizations this year, keeping company with well-known interactive shops, such as Avenue A/Razorfish, Ogilvy, JWT, and Arnold Worldwide.

The Web Marketing Association honored bbdigital for Web campaigns for GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Eaton Corporation’s Golf Pride brand, Anderson Floors, international consulting firm Watson Wyatt, as well as an award for the agency’s own site, BlattnerBrunner.com. The honors included a Best in Category for Consumer Goods for Aquafresh White Trays (www.aquafreshwhitetrays.com) and a Best in Category for Sports for Golf Pride (www.golfpride.com). Past Best in Category winners in these two categories have included brands, such as Nestle, Gillette, Pampers, Nike, and Soloflex. The other winning bbdigital sites received “Gold Standard of Excellence” or “Standard of Excellence” honors.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Brunner Digital (Formerly named bbdigital) has been honored with multiple awards. The 28 honors the agency has received since 2004, including four “Best in Category” awards, make it one of the most winning organizations in the history of the competition.

The annual WebAward Competition, produced by the Web Marketing Association, was founded in 1997 to set a high standard for Internet marketing and site development on the World Wide Web. WebAward entries are submitted by leading interactive agencies, website owners and in-house marketing and e-commerce departments from 40 countries. There are more than 96 industry categories, and each site goes head-to-head with other sites in its respective category.
